Today I've been trying out some fun extras I received in my last Stampin' Up! order and playing along with the OWH Sketch Challenge.
This bold leaf print was just screaming for either a bird or floral focal point. I went with my bird punch and an SU stamp set called Language of Friendship. This is a great layout, and I hope to try my hand at a few more cards using this sketch!

This is beautiful Shari! I haven't used that punch and stamp set in a long time. you've inspired me to dig it out next time I get to do some crafting. The background paper really is a perefct combo with the bird.

ReplyDeleteWow. A floral focal point would've worked, but the bird is too, too perfect! I love now you made bright beautiful! Since I tend to lean toward bright in my cards and my house, I'm going to have to give more thought to exactly how you pulled that off.
