OWH Sketch Challenge #113

When I saw the OWH Sketch Challenge for this week, I knew exactly what I wanted to do.  A couple of hours and many design changes later -  here's what it evolved into!

The stamp is "Easy Rider" from Penny Black, which I had previously colored with copic markers, and the DP is Anna Griffin paper that I inked up with Rose Red.  I added Barely Banana from Stampin' Up! (which seems to be a go-to color for me lately!), a sentiment is from Hero Arts and some favorite ribbon I got at Michael's a while back.  No Cricut or Cuttlebug on this one...how did THAT happen?

Now - on to my next project of the day, which is getting started on  a SMASH book with memorabilia and photos from my trip to the Holy Land in February.  Hope you are having a fabulous day, and thanks for stopping by!

  3. Shari, This card is just adorable. I know you are probably going through withdrawal from the Cricut, but with the beautify of this card, we don't even notice it missing. I have been using a lot of yellow lately and that is not a color I normal go to. Must be the sunny weather we are having. Enjoy your week.

  4. This card is so darn cute. I hope your visit to the Holy Land was as special to you as it was to hubby and I. We visited in 1999. We've been to lots of places in Europe and elsewhere, but walking the streets of Jerusalem and collecting water from the Jordan River tops it all.

  11. What a cutie pie she is, and I love the papers! I'm not overly fond of yellow, and yet I use it more often than most colors lately?! Adorable take on the sketch!
