OWH Sketch Challenge #222: Happy Birthday to Me!

I love my sister, and I love that she gave me some new stamp sets for my birthday to make my own birthday card! She also gave me a GORGEOUS piece of fabric and let me decide what she should make with it! :)

Today I'm playing with one of the stamp sets, copic markers, Cuttlebug Geometric embossing folder, paper from Basic Grey Mint Julep and sketch 222 from Operation Write Home.

Here's a second card I made last night using the same supplies. The stamp set is Red and Goldie from Avery Elle. So nice to have a local scrapbook store where I can get quality supplies and leave my birthday wish list with the store owner! Ha!

I hope you're having a wonderful day! Thanks for stopping by to take a look!

Blessings,
Shari B

p.s. I decided on a tote bag with my blog name embroidered on it!

OWH Sketch Challenge 220: You are my anchor!

Playing along today with OWH Sketch Challenge #220. This one looked complicated but was really fun to try!

I used the new Float My Boat stamp set from Lawn Fawn, Night of Navy ink and cardstock from SU! and DP from DCWV Summer Magic stack. I really wanted to add some brads or pearl pen, but didn't have the courage! I liked what I had going and didn't want to throw things out of kilter! Ha!

Hope you're having a great day. Thanks for stopping by!

Blessings,
Shari B

ODBD April Challenge: Insects!

The ODBD April Challenge over at Operation Write Home is to make a card with insects. For every 25 cards linked up, Our Daily Bread Designs will sponsor shipping for a box of cards going to the troops.

I've been busy making cards with a bunch of Campin' Critters I made on my cricut. Just so happens I just finished making some crazy cards with a pesky fly!

Here are a couple of other cards I've made with the critters:

The Campin' Critters cartridge is super fun, and the Happer Camper 6X6 pad from Echo Park is perfect!

Hope you're having a beautiful spring day! No bugs here...but the 11.5 inches of snow we got earlier in the week is starting to melt!

Blessings,
Shari
